Blog Boredom?
I think I need to knit something a little more exciting than Icarus, so that I actually have something to blog about. Or just knit faster . . .
I am officially (according to the over-thought spreadsheet of doom) over 80% done on my lovely shawl, so things might get more interesting around here fairly soon. If I can ever figure out the edging. Why don't people chart edgings? Is it REALLY easier to explain it in words?
In other news, I am totally besmitten with Ravelry, and I am spending way too much time queuing new projects. Yeah, that's the last thing I need to do right now.
Off to work on the shawl so I can maybe get a surprise prezzie done sooooon.
Oh, anyone doing any exciting Christmas knitting? I don't know if I'll be able to this year, as I have the surprise prezzie, and I'm MOVING to my FIRST NEW PLACE!!!! AHHHHHH!

I actually took up knitting the year we bought the house and I was broke for Christmas. (Mind, we moved in the middle of summer.) I had no money, but I had time. I noticed my MIL was short of dishcloths, and I had a vague recollection of doing garter stitch as a kid, so I asked my mom to re-teach me, and knitting those dishcloths for Shirley, I got totally hooked.
I'm knitting for Christmas this year! Not too many things, but enough. They're up on ravelry and tagged with Christmas 2007 :)
I'm only mini knitting ornaments for my mom's tree and possibly an angel for my son's teacher.
I'm about to cast-on for Icarus and I think it's going to take up most of my December knitting time.
I am knitting most of my gifts this year, just something good and more personal about an hand-knit item don't you think!?
I am nearly done with a School Scarf for my youngest. =) Free pattern will be on my website and blog soon.
