Perfect Sockapaloooza Yarn
Yes, I think it is perfect.
Check it out in all its deliciousness:
It's Koigu KPPPM in the P303 colourway.
And I think it needs to be toe-up jaywalkers.

*envy* I'm dying to work with Koigu kpppm. *sigh*
g!
Where in the world are you getting koigu in Central PA?
"Enquiring" minds want to know.
Ginny: you need some koigu ... go get it now!
Cindy: the internet is a marvellous thing - I got it off of eBay!
mmmmm. it does look yummy..
I love the yarn! I need to figure out what I'm making my socks out of. Maybe Sean will let me use the yarn for his socks...
Darn...I thought you had a "secret" local source.......
Karlie - when I saw it, I thought of you! =) Do you have any thoughts on what you'll get?
Cindy - sorry, no such luck. Where do you get yarn here? I've only got the internet...

It's about 10 minutes away from campus--west on College.
Small, but with a nice selection (Elsebeth Lavold, Brown Sheep (of course) Steadfast, Cherry Tree Hill, Manos...), and will try and order what they don't have. Owners are Cynthia and Kim. Good people. Just had a Super Bowl Sale this past Sunday. I got some Fantasy Naturale for 50% off.
I've been getting Socks that Rock, and Brooks Farm yarn online though.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! I can't wait to see how they turn out.
And a big "thank you" for leading me to the toe-up Jaywaker pattern!
Cindy -- I'm going to have to check them out... they look great online!
Neko_loco - I hope the jaywalker pattern works for this koigu... it's so pretty! And you're welcome for the link... the whole toe-up thing was what finally sold me on having to knit them!
What a lovely colour!
