Coming home already

Well folks, there will be much more knitting activity soon -- I move back home today.

On a completely unrelated note, I've been thinking of making several people gloves for Christmas. I've also been thinking of just measuring all of their body parts so that they don't know what I'm knitting them, and I've got the specs for whatever I want to knit.

Anyone else planning holiday knitting already?

I've already bought all my yarn and I know what I intend to knit with it!!! (I got it all at the big semi-annual clearance sale at the Bernat/Patons factory outlet... in February!!!)

P.S. The current IK has a great tutorial on designing gloves for any gauge yarn. (I had bought you a copy, but it got ruined in an unfortunate suppertime incident and I haven't been back to the bookstore that carries it! Sorry. But perhaps you have bought it for yourself and it is what has inspired your plan to make gloves?)

Maryse,
You sure are ready!
I got my gloves idea from the old IK you sent me -- it has the designing gloves from any gauge yarn tutorial!!! It's really fabulous!

Gloves certainly are industrious of you! All those fingers would probably drive me insane.

Well, there might be one pair of gloves, and then some easier knits... but I really don't want to do scarves again this year!!!

No holidays for me to knit in, as you know by my nutty schedule :( I'm trying to finish my sockapal2za socks though, and once school starts I can knit some more again because I'll have more time. I won't have any classes I can knit in though, since they'll all be very small.
