New Baby Blanket Plan

Ok, the cables are just not going to work with the acrylic that the mum-to-be picked out herself.

So, we have a new plan.
Based upon inspiration from:


and the incomparable Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitter's Almanac, I should be able to make this work.
